AGILITY

Agility Foundations Group Courses

£60 for 5 sessions (sessions are 1.5hrs)

Agility 1-2-1 Sessions

£40 for 1hr

Bookable on enquiry, usually Charlton Park

1-2-1 PUPPY TRAINING

These sessions will most likely take place initially in your home, prior to progressing to a suitable outdoor location, depending on needs. These sessions are for any puppies up to 1.5 years old:

- help setting up your puppy’s space and routine to best suit their and your needs
- toilet-training
- socialisation
- key basic obedience skills, including recall, leave, settling & loose-lead walking
- tricks & interactive play - not just for a laugh, learning how dogs learn and play is essential to learning how to motivate them!
- how to teach your puppy not to….. steal items and food, jump up (on you, other people, counters, furniture), bark excessively, nip and bite whilst playing, etc.
- handling and care
- pre-empting possible future problems (separation anxiety, reactivity, trouble settling, resource guarding etc)

FIRST PUPPY SESSION:

£60 for a 1hr session, including 20-30min assessment and consultation via phone or online

ONE-OFF PUPPY SESSION

£50 (1hr)

PUPPY BLOCK:

£215 (save £45) for five 1hr sessions, including initial 20-30min assessment and consultation via phone or online

1-2-1 GENERAL OBEDIENCE TRAINING

These sessions will take place either in your home, or a suitable outdoor location, depending on needs. These sessions are for dogs over 1.5 years old:

recall
loose-lead walking
leave
wait & stay
tricks & interactive play - not just for a laugh, learning how dogs learn and play is essential to learning how to motivate them!
engagement (with you) and disengagement (from distractions)
addressing basic behaviour issues in the house and out and about - low-level reactivity, counter-surfing, excessive barking, overexcitement, and more
This is a suggestive list - get in touch if there are other things you’d like to address! If I find on consultation that it sounds like your dog is experiencing a serious behaviour issue, I’ll recommend an excellent behaviourist.

Would you like to teach your dog to skateboard? Bring you household items? Leap into your arms on command? Waltz with you?

It’s possible to teach a dog to do pretty much anything they can physically do - and it’s not just for our amusement, it’s for theirs. Learning tricks are a great way for your dog to gain confidence in their body, and to engage in problem-solving games with you - this builds your relationship and gives them something fulfilling to do.

£40 for 1hr

(NOTE: teaching complex tricks takes time! Some simple tricks can be taught within one session, others need to be built up over several.)

DOG-CARE
